Description
KCL Bridge Electrode holders from ALA Scientific are ideal for stabilizing electrode potentials and improving noise performance. This type of holder eliminates the need for Cl- in recording pipette solutions due to an additional piece, a quartz capillary, which holds a small amount of KCl solution, so a complete circuit is then formed between the AgCl pellet and the recording electrode via this bridge.
All KCl Bridge Electrode Holders are made of low noise polycarbonate, come standard with an Ag wire, and accommodate glass OD of 1.5mm.
Options include an Ag/AgCl pellet instead of Ag wire, other glass sizes, and different configuration holders, like right angle and perfusion ports.
