The new FiberOptoMeter III:
- In-vivo Ca2+ fluorescence measurement through optical fiber
- Improved design using new detectors with superior capabilities
- Optional output signal filter improves signal to noise ratio
- Available with multiple fibers
The applications are:
- Localized measurement of physiological fluorescence signals (e.g. Ca2+ signals) from multiple sites in stimulation of physiological signals in disease model animals and drug testing freely behaving animals including primates
- Multi-color stimulation
- Near simultaneous optical measurement of cellular activity and stimulation
- Chronic monitoring of physiological signals in disease model animals and drug testing

- Ultrafast photodetector:
high robustness against high-dose irradiation detecting fluorescence signal immediately after optogenetic stimulation with high sensitivity

- compatible with multi-mode SMA or FC/PC fibers incl. non magnetic fibers for fMRI
