The MF-3 Microforge is a versatile instrument designed for precise micropipette fabrication, allowing continuous observation of the pipette tip through a built-in, high-resolution microscope. The MF-3 delivers brighter, clearer imaging for improved accuracy, while its compact, robust design makes positioning easy and helps reduce the risk of pipette breakage.
It supports a range of customization techniques—including cutting, fire-polishing, bending, and spike formation—so pipettes can be tailored to specific experimental needs. Fine adjustments are made using reliable control knobs located near the microscope, with the option to switch the focusing knob to the left side for user preference.
Critical heater settings are clearly displayed for easy monitoring, and heater operation is controlled via a convenient foot switch. An adjustable LED light source provides illumination from low to high intensity, ensuring optimal visibility throughout the fabrication process.
